Go Ahead, Spoil the Grandkids!

Keith has wanted to get a playhouse for the grandkids for several years.
I met Suz at Sam's Club to shamelessly use her membership for some things for school, and Keith came along.  He found the perfect playset and Suz was the temptress who encouraged him to buy it.
Who knew 4 boxes would take almost a month to get put together?
Here he is, just beginning.

It turned into a family affair.  The guys gave up their Saturdays and weeknights to come and help.

Even the kiddos got into the act of helping to build it.

And at last, it is completed!!!
Good work Keithy.

The kids love to play and slide, glide and swing.

MyKelle

The glider is the favortie thing to do right now.

Addi

and her cousin Ethan

Not to leave out the little ones,
this is Cambree's first try in a Bumbo.
She's a little wobbly but so dang cute.

Carson is a pro and loves seeing what's going on around him.

Had to share this cute picture of my 90 year old father with Cambree,
oldest and youngest in our family.

The day after school got out, Keith and I went with Adam and Jess to Vegas.

It was record breaking heat for Vegas. 110 degrees!
The low was 86 - ugh!!
We started and ended each day in the pools.
Carson - not so much a fan.
But, great catch Adam.

Tired little family.

Yes, Carson, I hate casinos too!

Cutest sunglasses.
Adam is a great Daddy, it's fun to watch him in action.
Thanks for letting us come with you, Adam and Jess.

JOY

We had Mother's Day on Friday night.
The girls made me a beautiful scrapbook of the last year.
I'm so grateful for their talents and time, I would never make my own,
I just don't have the creativity to do it.

JOY
That's what I feel when I am around these people.

All the grandbabies together for the first time.
(Sorry Cambree, I know you're squished.)

More JOY
These are my babies that gave me my grandbabies.

They all married fabulous people that help them to grow and become better people.
(They're also really good to me.)

The 2 newest ones: Carson 10 weeks, Cambree 9 days.

Love Carson's eyes in this one.

And the older kiddos using Poppy for a jungle gym.

This man gives me JOY.  He is the best Poppy and his grandkids adore him.

MyKelle being the oldest cousin,
with Cambree

and Carson.

I am beginning to understand what JOY means through the love of my children.
Since I hate Mother's Day so much, I've decided to turn it into
"Count Your Many Blessings Day"
and that makes it a wonderful day.
Wishing you all a great day.

She's Here - Happy Birthday Cambree Ann

Cambree Ann Whitney was born April 28, 2010
3:26am
6 pounds 8 ounces
19 1/2 inches long.
Perfect in every way!

Kelli called me after work, worried about being alone while Jeremy went to school. She described to me what turned out to be labor pains. Keith and I drove out to Kelli's. We started timing contractions, Keith the intervals and me the length. Turns out Jeremy didn't get to school.
No, instead we went to the hospital!

Kelli was awesome. Being quite dramatic and hysterical about things at times, (like snakes in her garage)   I was a little worried about her, but she surprised me.
She was strong and brave, calm and in control.
And look at what we have!
This is just after she was born.

Cambree is calm and mellow. She is easily soothed.

Proud Momma
My baby has a baby! Wow.

Sisters- celebrating our new little blessing.
We are so happy she is here and healthy.

Happy 2nd Addi!

I can hardly believe this little one is 2 years old today!
However, the terrible 2's started early for her at about 9 months old.

She loves her Daddy and he loves her.  They are 2 peas in a pod.

She has no fear and a high tolerance of pain, just like her Daddy.
Hopefully as she grows older she will gain some good judgement, not necessarily like her Daddy.
She loves to ride the 4 wheeler, the little jeep, the bike and to play outside.

Nat is an awesome Mom.  She has taught her to say please and thank you. Addi cooperates with her, don't know how she managed that, I never figured it out.

Addi is an explorer - into everything.
She loves to build with blocks, read books, do puzzles, and play with the Fisher Price "guys."
Disney playhouse is her favorite.  Nat had a Mickey Birthday party complete with
"Hot dogs, hot dogs, hot diggity dogs.

Her smile absolutely melts my heart and her hugs, though rare, are the best.
Addi doesn't love sweet food.  Give her a cookie or candy and she looks at it strangely and hands it back to you, but broccoli, black beans, rice, hamburgers, pasta, now she'll eat that willingly and hungrily.

I gave her a kitchen for her birthday and Katie gave her an apron and hat to go with it.  The girl was in her heaven.  However, she did tell me that she needed "chicken nuggets and fries" to go with it.  Good thing it's Easter - she gets them today.

We are so blessed to have Addison Mae in our lives, sweet blessing of Heaven.
We Love You Addi!

This and That

A little of this and a little of that.

Beautiful Carson at 1 week old.

All my Grandbabies and a Momma

MyKelle and Addi just had to do Poppy's hair --- what there is of it!

Yes, Adam changes most diapers.
He has been blessed to be home with Carson since he was born.
Tomorrow he goes back to work. Not looking forward to it.

Kelli and Jeremy anticipating the future. Love this picture.

This little girl has spunk.
Unknown to us, she put her fingers in the melted wax of a Scency Warmer.
Later when we were all in the living room, she points to the warmer and says'
"Dat soup is HOT!"
Looking we saw tiny wax shapes of her fingers.  We don't think she ate it. Really.
Don't worry, I tested it out and it's not that hot.

90 year old Papa and his newest Great Grandchild.
Carson at 2 1/2 weeks old.

I celebrated a birthday on Friday.
MMMM.... Parson's cake and Leatherby's ice cream and
carmel - my new, old favortie thing.

We met for Dinner at Jason's Deli - you know- free Ice Cream.

Went to a Marriott in Layton.
MyKelle and Gage got to spend the night with us.

Swam and had the entire pool area by ourselves.

These 2 love to run and jump.
You've got to watch Addi cuz she will jump when no one is there!

Baby Carson - 3 weeks old.

Travis noticed my kitchen sink faucet was fairly disgusting.
He decided that would be what everyone would give me for my birthday.
So----Saturday Keith took out the old and put in the new.
It only took about 6 hours and 5-6 trips to Lowes and Home Depot.
It's beautiful.
Thanks kids and
thanks Keith for never
swearing, throwing or otherwise having a tantrum while being a weekend plumber.
Love you all.
