Summer Fun

We've had some fun times in July
Cambree had 4 outfits for the 4th of July. I especially love the goofy grin.

Adam read a great book to Carson, all about the beloved Utes.
Carson seemed to be diggin it.

Love those smiles and giggles.
We bought a piece of plastic 100 feet long and layed it down in the back yard for a water slide.
Great fun was had by all.
The grass cried and turned yellow for many a day.

Fighting for the frizbee.
(Do you love the coke in the foreground? Oops.)

JoJo opted to stay dry and injury free and hold cute babies instead.

Baby feet - Sweet.

Carson loves his binky and the stroller.

Addi made a new friend; Bridger, Jessica's nephew.
She found out she digs the sandbox.

Indoctrinated at a young age.
Holding hands and saying "GO UTES!"

2 months difference in age equals a big difference in size.
Aren't they somethin'?

Ready to go swimming at my friend Susan's pool.

Addi loves the playhouse.
She scared me everytime she climbs this wall by herself.
She's a gutsy kid.

Loves to slide.

And sometimes we are just onery.
Love this one.

Cambree's Blessing Day

This sweet little spirit was given a Name and a Blessing by her Daddy on July 4th 2010.

14 rows of ruffles.
Sufficient for a princess.

Kelli and Jeremy invited people to their cute new house afterward for
waffles with ice cream and strawberries.
Yummy - dessert for breakfast.

Cambree and Carson and the old people that are crazy about them.

Congratulation to the Whitney family.

4th of July Celebration

The 4th of July is always spent at Grandma and Grandpa Gines' house for the Centerville Parade.
I couldn't resist and bought all the kiddos attire for the day. Stinkin' cute kids.

Gage wasn't too happy about the picture taking.
Don't you love Addi's glasses?

 My Girls.

Grandma's Birthday is the 4th of July and Grandpa's is the 18th.
We met for a "lovely" dinner at Golden Corral in the afternoon, Grandpa's favorite place.

Carson and Cambree's first parade.

Getting ready to grab the CANDY!!!

Cool, you just stand here and people throw candy at you.

After the parade, Jill graciously let us come swim at her pool. Reminds me of Uncle Wilf's.

Keith and the big splash!

Fun 4th. We should do it again next year!

Go Ahead, Spoil the Grandkids!

Keith has wanted to get a playhouse for the grandkids for several years.
I met Suz at Sam's Club to shamelessly use her membership for some things for school, and Keith came along.  He found the perfect playset and Suz was the temptress who encouraged him to buy it.
Who knew 4 boxes would take almost a month to get put together?
Here he is, just beginning.

It turned into a family affair.  The guys gave up their Saturdays and weeknights to come and help.

Even the kiddos got into the act of helping to build it.

And at last, it is completed!!!
Good work Keithy.

The kids love to play and slide, glide and swing.

The glider is the favortie thing to do right now.

Addi

and her cousin Ethan

Not to leave out the little ones,
this is Cambree's first try in a Bumbo.
She's a little wobbly but so dang cute.

Carson is a pro and loves seeing what's going on around him.

Had to share this cute picture of my 90 year old father with Cambree,
oldest and youngest in our family.

The day after school got out, Keith and I went with Adam and Jess to Vegas.

It was record breaking heat for Vegas. 110 degrees!
The low was 86 - ugh!!
We started and ended each day in the pools.
Carson - not so much a fan.
But, great catch Adam.

Tired little family.

Yes, Carson, I hate casinos too!

Cutest sunglasses.
Adam is a great Daddy, it's fun to watch him in action.
Thanks for letting us come with you, Adam and Jess.
