She's Here - Happy Birthday Cambree Ann

Cambree Ann Whitney was born April 28, 2010
3:26am
6 pounds 8 ounces
19 1/2 inches long.
Perfect in every way!

Kelli called me after work, worried about being alone while Jeremy went to school. She described to me what turned out to be labor pains. Keith and I drove out to Kelli's. We started timing contractions, Keith the intervals and me the length. Turns out Jeremy didn't get to school.
No, instead we went to the hospital!

Kelli was awesome. Being quite dramatic and hysterical about things at times, (like snakes in her garage)   I was a little worried about her, but she surprised me.
She was strong and brave, calm and in control.
And look at what we have!
This is just after she was born.

Cambree is calm and mellow. She is easily soothed.

Proud Momma
My baby has a baby! Wow.

Sisters- celebrating our new little blessing.
We are so happy she is here and healthy.

Happy 2nd Addi!

I can hardly believe this little one is 2 years old today!
However, the terrible 2's started early for her at about 9 months old.

She loves her Daddy and he loves her.  They are 2 peas in a pod.

She has no fear and a high tolerance of pain, just like her Daddy.
Hopefully as she grows older she will gain some good judgement, not necessarily like her Daddy.
She loves to ride the 4 wheeler, the little jeep, the bike and to play outside.

Nat is an awesome Mom.  She has taught her to say please and thank you. Addi cooperates with her, don't know how she managed that, I never figured it out.

Addi is an explorer - into everything.
She loves to build with blocks, read books, do puzzles, and play with the Fisher Price "guys."
Disney playhouse is her favorite.  Nat had a Mickey Birthday party complete with
"Hot dogs, hot dogs, hot diggity dogs.

Her smile absolutely melts my heart and her hugs, though rare, are the best.
Addi doesn't love sweet food.  Give her a cookie or candy and she looks at it strangely and hands it back to you, but broccoli, black beans, rice, hamburgers, pasta, now she'll eat that willingly and hungrily.

I gave her a kitchen for her birthday and Katie gave her an apron and hat to go with it.  The girl was in her heaven.  However, she did tell me that she needed "chicken nuggets and fries" to go with it.  Good thing it's Easter - she gets them today.

We are so blessed to have Addison Mae in our lives, sweet blessing of Heaven.
We Love You Addi!
